Elizabeth ZwickHas been painting with watercolors since childhood. She lives in the Siskiyou Mountains, surrounded by the plants, animals, and landscape she has painted in this book.
Kim Zwemer-Margulis M.S. is a counselor who works with children and their families. This is her first book. She wrote it after a wildfire came within two hundred feet of her home in the Siskiyous. A permaculture design course inspired the observational writing style of the story.
