Village Books is an independent, full-service bookstore located in the beautiful alpine community of Mount Shasta, California (about an hour below the Oregon border - just off Interstate 5). We specialize in good old-fashioned customer service, and while we can't offer you the ambience of our Mount Shasta bookstore here in cyberspace, we hope that you will enjoy your shopping experience with us (you'll have to provide your own espresso!). We normally ship your order the next business day - excluding weekends and holidays (we will let you know if for some reason we are unable to do so). You should receive your order within 2 - 3 business days (3 - 4 business days for East Coast shipments). ALL ORDERS: $4.50 for the first item; $1.00 for each additional item. INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: Qualifying shipments (weighing less than 4 lbs. and fitting within the packaging restrictions) will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail International. Please add $6.50 (in addition to the standard U.S. shipping charge as noted above.) International Shipments not qualifying for USPS Priority Mail International (either because the weight is over 4 lbs., the items do not fit within the packaging restrictions, or the city or country is not eligible) will be charged the exact cost of the postage for air mail delivery (if over calculated shipping charges). Please note that we are unable to accept backorders on multiple item orders on international shipments. SALES TAX: Sales Tax of 7.25% will be added for California shipments. PRIVACY POLICY: Our privacy policy is simple - Village Books does not share any information with anyone at anytime under any circumstances. Information you submit to us is encrypted, secure and kept private - period. RETURNS POLICY: Items may be returned up to thirty days from the date of shipment. Returned items must be received in "new" condition. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.
