Aluna Joy Yaxk'in is an internationally known spiritual guide, speaker, author, photographer, and Mayan Astrologer. She is founder of CENTER of the SUN, an organization dedicated to bridging the cultures of the Americas. She authored Mayan Astrology, The Mayan Time Decoder, and The Mayan Daykeeper. Aluna acts as coordinator of the Worldwide SOLAR WAVE Ceremonies held each Spring Equinox. Aluna’s work has been influenced and guided by a life long interaction with the Star Elders and a series of shamanic experiences which deepened her path during 12 years of travel in Central and South America. Aluna has worked with, and been initiated by many Mayan Elders over the years, and is also a student and coworker with Incan Spiritual Messenger, Willaru Huayta.
Although Aluna now lives in Sedona, we still consider her a "local author"!
