Serenity Women’s Care is a woman-owned health care practice located in the beautiful McCormick Ranch area of Scottsdale, Arizona. Our purpose is to provide the highest quality of health care to women of all ages, from teens through older ages. We emphasize comfort, dignity, and attention to the details that are important to women. Our primary focus is OB/GYN. Unlike other OB/GYN offices, however, Serenity Women’s Care also provides Primary Care to women. This means we can be your health care home, your “regular” care office for your non-GYN health care needs too!
“JeanAnn is without a doubt the kindest, most gentle medical professional I have ever known. She always takes her time and I never feel like I’m just a number with her. Even when I ask LOTS of questions she is so patient and unhurried.” Ms. C.W.
“I had my first Gyno exam with JeanAnn. I was so nervous but she made me feel totally relaxed and not afraid at all. She talked me through the whole thing and even showed me the instruments. JeanAnn was totally patient when I was so tense! She was so very gentle and it didn’t hurt at all! On top of that, you can ask her absolutely anything! She never makes you feel stupid.” Mrs. M.Z.
“JeanAnn probably saved my life and my baby’s too. I was pregnant and living in a small town. My blood pressure had started going up. JeanAnn ordered some blood work and told me to go straight home on bed rest. I didn’t go to bed because I felt fine. The next morning, JeanAnn called me and told me that the tests showed that I was actually extremely sick. I needed to be hospitalized immediately. I had gone to work because I felt OK. I left work right then, and JeanAnn personally wheeled me in to the hospital. Everyone was waiting for me. Between JeanAnn, the nurses, and the hospital’s OB Doctor, I was flown to Phoenix within 40 minutes. My baby girl was born two hours later, by C-section, at 26 weeks of pregnancy. Later, the doctors told me that I probably would have developed seizures and other serious complications within hours and may even have died. If JeanAnn had not been so alert for my complications, and known just what to do, my baby and I might not be here. I thank her so very much!” Ms. T.A.
“I was referred to JeanAnn by my Family Practice office because I had some GYN problems and rashes that I couldn’t seem to shake. She really took her time getting to know me as a person, and she actually listened to me while I told her about how I always seemed to be sick. JeanAnn examined me all over, and went over all of my medical charts from my other doctors. She ran some tests, and a week later, sadly, I learned that I had HIV. I had been going to doctors for a year! Repeatedly. They all missed it. I think that JeanAnn pretty well knew what was wrong right away. Not only that, but she got me to the people who could help me long-term and provide the medicines I needed. She was always there for me. Some days, in the beginning, I would just show up at her office, even without an appointment, and all I could do was cry. She would just listen to me. I had made some big mistakes in my life but she never looked down on me like so many people did. I am on my meds today, doing well, and I’m so grateful to have hope for the future.” Mrs. E.A
